Seems a little slow at MU today, so I'll add a stump story.
I'd like to think I could easily get rid of 30 or 40 trees, roots and all, but these are big'uns, I don't have the hanging brass to dig these up with the tree attached, maybe if they were just 10 inches with plenty of room, but most of these are crowded in, and again they're huge.
The big job is, make pasture for horses, then an area for garden, I'd rather not have to work a root minefield if I get to the garden stage.
This little job is for a horse ring, as it is I have to leave one tree just outside the ring, it's massive. We're telling ourselves the shade will be good.

It took less than two hours to dig this one loose, no way my Deere 770 could'a pulled this one out, so the L35 has proved it's worth the money spent.
Before the wife and I knocked a few hundred pounds of dirt and rocks from the roots, one rear wheel came off the ground when lifting it out of the hole, after we lightened it up a bit out it came. Only 5 more stumps, til the next job.
