Was looking for a lawnmower for Mom this summer, she'd just recovered from hip surgery and a fractured wrist. I was looking for something unique, that would allow her walk at her pace, and be light on the wrist. What I found was a self-propelled walk behind, which has the propulsion system mounted in the handle. As you walk behind the mower, holding onto the handle, the forward pressure on the handle engages the propulsion system, and only travels as fast as you move behind it. It also has an electric start system so that all you have to do is turn the key. I think TORO hit the mark with this unit, really nice! |
