 The election
How many of you caught the speech last night? My take was Obama's presentation was top notch as usual. The problem I saw was it mostly contained the typ Democrat positions. Far too much time spent on attacking McCain in place of putting meat on the bones for his proposals and that is what is needed to get the undecided.
Looks like McCain took the wind out of Obama's sail this AM with his announcement. It was planned this way and I think we'll see it is getting as much or more coverage than Obama will receive today. Way too early to know but initially I don't see a problem for the selection. From what I've heard/read today she does seem to be a tough cookie and not afraid to make waves and lop off a few heads. Time will tell. One thing I did note in watching the announcement was the makeup of the audience. Seemed to be a bunch of working class people and a lot more reserved the what I saw in Denver this week. |
