Didn't want to buy too big a tractor, but also don't want to be kicking myself for not going big enough. Am concerned about maneuverability due to some tighter areas around trees. Also wondering if I should be looking at 54"MMM due to terrain.

Hello and welcome to the M.U! It looks like you did you homework and you have a good idea of what you need overall. It sounds like it just comes down to the most machine you can get without outgrowing your needs.
I would stick with the larger decks for mowing on these size machines -up to 64" typically. The reason is it gives you better trimming abilitity over the 54", and enough width outside of the tractors width. This size tractor on up to the B2630/B3030 series make for great finish mowers, and great maneuverability, so you will be covered there with a smaller machine.
It comes down do what machine you can comfortably afford at this point because what you selected is capable and will handle what you asked. I do like to go as big as possible - so you dont suffer buyers remorse (even when its not warranted).
Not sure where you are located but if anywhere near NY, give Kevin at Emerich Sales (site sponsor link ) a call to see if he can fit you into the machine for you
Let us know how you make out!
