Hi Jay - Some branches and leaves down here... but no fallen trees and very little water in the basement thanks to some special precautions I took in anticipation of major flooding. I'm sure my gravel driveway is further eroded (haven't looked yet - what's the point?) 'cause BOY did it come down here last night! Mama Mia!!!

Naturally, I got unusually hungry right in the worst of it and went out in search of real food (gruel wouldn't have worked). I never did find anything open that I could afford, but man what a great carwash I got!!!

I think I made out reasonably well because the storm was moving so fast. Not enough time for major water to soak in and find its way into the basement... and plenty of wind following the rain to help dry things out.

Next big test: Ike!!!
