Hmmm, I don't know about that thing Jay.. It'd be pretty useless cleaning out some of the muck I've come across. I'm thinking about this product thttp://www.gutterglove.com/shop/ read some good reviews on it.

The problem at my house... no matter how much I try to do about it... is that my rain gutters collect mucho roof debris and get blocked up almost instantly. Then they overflow on any good rain storm and the water goes right down into the basement with my 99.9% clay soil. My yard drainage system is useless against this "gutter overflow" water.
Same here Doug. At least once a year we get an inch or so at the bottom of the basement steps, it's worse when the gutters are plugged.... keep in mind this house was built in 1850. It has the original stone foundation, with a partial concrete floor...very good for snakes and mice. We have three cats. I cut a cat hole in the basement door so they can do their predator thing downstairs.
