Well. it looks like I got this thing behind me. Tried out the method Duc mentioned in post #5. I must be awful dense because none of this was clear to me.

I ended up clicking on Duc's AVITAR, then clicked on FRIENDS and finally saw some text over to the right saying BEFRIEND. I'm sure there is another way and possibly easier but I couldn't find it.
