always used a electric. and that cord crap was getting old.
i did a lot of searching on the net. Stihl and Echo got high marks.
Stihl was ranked best by consumer report. so i narroed it down from there.
ended up with the new HS 45. was going to get a 81T but i did not like the articulating handle. thay have the same motor. and i got a 24 inch bar. boy this is no Home depot jobby , got it at the stihl dealer. its made very well. it will cut about anything. i hope it lasts , these things ant cheep.
Here is a few pics and of course my first bush i did with it.
this bush was out of control. it took all of about 8 min to bring her down
to size. took longer to rake clippings than to cut it. boy everyone need one of these... i figured it i got a comercial one for around the house , it should last a while.
Chris.... | Its a great brand you will love it - Im surprised that you havent gone gas before. Too many close calls of me cutting the electrical cords, blowing circuits and getting the shock of my life said enough of electric hedgers. |
