Default McCormick

Was watching Classic tractor show. They had adds on for new
McCormick tractors. I thought thats odd. Have not seen or heard of them in a long time.
Searched here no mention.
Looked around the web.
McCormick offers a full line of tractors ranging from 37 hp to 280 hp
McCormick USA HOME
McCormick tractors - return of the McCormick brand - McCormick International
So who has one??
Know anything about them??

ARGO Industrial Group

Landini is part of Argo which also owns McCormick. They have 6 plants in Italy as well as one in France and one in England. The Landini brand had tractors made for them by Iseki and Massey Ferguson owned Landini from 1959 till Argo bought majority share in 1994 so I would think there would have been some crossover during that time frame.

McCormick

Landini and McCormick farm equipment brand owner Argo announced the operations for both brands will be consolidated to facilities near Atlanta in 2006.(COMPANY NEWS) | Agri Marketing | Find Articles at BNET.com

Basically the name McCormick is being revived to create a market position in the US

It's a red Landini...

As part of the 1999 mega-merger of Case IH and New Holland, European Commission regulators required several divestitures, including the sale of Case's Doncaster plant, a transmission factory in France and rights to the long-dormant McCormick brand.

McCormick tractor lines parallel the current Case IH tractors, but already there are differences. A Perkins engine, rather than a Cummins, powers the 6-cyl. MC McCormicks. A Speed Sequencer transmission that allows push-button shifting is available for the 118- to 176-hp MTX series. There are some cosmetic differences, too.

Anyway they woke me up. Thought i could learn more here.
Guess i will have to get out and see for myself.
