Default Ford N tractor lookers....

I’m sure there must be a few savvy web searchers that may have seen this place before…but Wow there are some great reads and excellent pictures of the N series Fords.

I kept the link and read up on the N’s as on two occasions I nearly bought an 8N just to enjoy and restore…but down here they are becoming as rare as hens teeth and a decent builder runs $1K with only a few pieces missing.

Any who - check out the Jubilee (lawnmower) on Smith’s home-page

I've not paid too much attention to the old Fords. Some yrs back I was checking prices on them and at that time a decent 8 or 9 was in the $2k range. Just took a look on craigs list and it looks like $1k +/- a few hundred seems to be going price. There are several pretty rough looking one in the $800-$1k range and a couple for about $1500.

Here is one that looks decent at $1500. http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/grd/491181014.html

Looks like the prices you're seeing Mark are not far off from what they are here. Between Portland and Salem listings there are 6-8 old N's for sale.

Always liked the looks of the old 8N/9N series, My Dad always wanted one for his own. They have a following 'round here, and in decent shape can be had for $1500-$3000. There seems to be a good supply of original attachments available too!
