Points: 0 |  SCOTUS: Heller decision Well,  we should be seeing the Supreme Courts ruling this week in Heller v. DC docket #07-290. The case everyone is hoping will clear up the legal position regarding the 2nd amendment, and an individuals right to possess firearms.

Points: 0 | After the recent decision to give terrorists rights and access to the judicial system...I have to wonder what the decision will be for our rights. I am nervous to say the least

Points: 0 | Well here it is, in it's entirety: http://www.supremecourtus.gov/opinions/07pdf/07-290.pdf While I am happy to see this opinion lean in favor of the individual, I am wholly disheartened by the opinion of the 4 Justices in dissention. I feel that their opinion will encourage legislation from the bench, which will serve as the rule of law until the foundations of socialism have taken root in our land.
