I'm also partial to Parker for the same reason, but it came from my dad.
Ithaca as well - similar tastes not doubt from the older generations -

Don't have A favorite but suspect any of us would have a very fond spot in our heart for any weapon that has been passed down from family that came before.

I have a number of guns that I have inherited. I have a 20ga Ranger (Sears) double dad bought in late 30's. Have a Marlin model 39 that was my dad's brother's, purchased in the 30's, also have a Lugar my uncle took off a German he had to fight.

There is one item I wasn't able to get and would have given a great deal for. The uncle with the Lugar had a confederate officers sword that belonged to a relitive and had a trainning manual that included a picture of that relitive with the sword. Aunt had a real need to raise some cash and wouldn't ever take money from family so she sold both items to a stranger. Seem to remember she got something like $1k for the sword with the manual.

They all have a story to tell.

Hope I haven't taken this thread too far off topic.

This is a tough question.

I do like my old side-x-side 12 gauge from an heirloom perspective.

But the Springfield M1 Garand has a special place in my heart as does my Colt AR15-HBAR (pre ban).
I shot DCM matches (now CMP) with both of them, and those are the two cartridges I reload, as well. (.223 and 30.06)

As was quoted about the M1 Garand:
"The greatest battle implement ever devised". George S. Patton

Kubota BX2350 and more attachments than I have sense to operate.
