Default 1978 1250

Picked this up about 6 weeks ago. Is in pretty good shape cosmetically, and really good shape mechanically. Am thinking about doing a restore on it over the winter. I haven't done one yet, and this seems like a decent candidate. A couple things that stood out so far: built like a tank, drives like a tank, turns like a tank. I like it a lot, except for the hand lever for speed control. Seems completely unnatural to me, but I'm trying to adjust. I think it'll be easier to deal with once I adjust the brakes so that they work properly.

You picked a great machine to work on . I think this is one of the quietline series, and they are solid and built like a tank...Look at the rear end seems a little bit more than whats offered in our 2500 and 3000 series machines

That looks great CC, fellow nutmegger. I hope you have more time for projects than I do. Here's a picture from last year shortly after I bought it, a "69" Deere 110 Garden Tractor. So far I bought tune-up parts, and a carb overhaul kit... still waiting for the right time to do anything......
