Default First project of the year

My first project (involving my tractor) of this year was some much needed driveway repairs. I had 15 tons of 3/4 crushed stone delivered this morning and got to work. Took about 1 hour to spread it around, then another hour of leveling and such. A few pictures attached to show the job.

Nice Job! I love it, you were able to use your snow plow/front blade for spreading rock - very cool and versatile! Pretty cool actually spread 15 yrds during the day, plow snow later that day

How did the Cub perform? I bet its happy

Looks great. That CUB sure gets the job done well and you got it done pretty quick.

    Have a good one.

Yea, the Cub and I were both happy to play with something other than snow. As usual, the Cub performed flawlessly and was able to move a lot of stone at a time. Tried some back-dragging to level things out in the end, and it worked okay. In the end I still needed about 10 minutes with the hand rake to clean up the borders a bit. All in all a good day though

A short day if it only took you an hour- so what did you do the rest of the day? LOL

Takes me an hour just to stand there with my and visually "assess" the job at hand.

Not wanting to take away from your seat time but was wondering why you didn't have the driver spread out the load and thus reduce the amount of work you needed to do.

Does look like you and the Cub Goter done.
Practice makes perfect: After many decade of hard work and practice, it now takes almost no effort to get tired.

Ray Bream - May the most you wish for be the least you get, - BUT work for it.
