Because I just don't have enough of them... Well, my Dad needed a lawn mower and I found a CC 2166 so I sold him my Craftsman for what I had to pay for the 2166...$500. I thought this was a decent deal since I'd found other 2166 selling for much more. It's not perfect, but it runs and drives very nice!

Looks to me to be in great shape - nice find! they are Good units and a number of folks own them with good results. I think johndeere owns one as well

Yes I also have a 2166 just added a front blade just like CCinCT has to mine.
Look like you might be needing the front headlight assembly?
Yeah, the lens is missing...but I don't do a lot of night mowing...LOL
