The cub Cadet Yanmar EX3200 has a One piece heavy duty reinforcement on loader and the John Deere has a 2 piece. Cub Cadet is much stronger.

The Axle is much thicker and heavier on the Cub than on the deere.

Higher and foldable rops on the EX3200 Cub Cadet Yanmar Tractor

Also Cub Cadet has a Retractable seat belt so it doesn't get caught on things.

Protected Loader lines on the EX3200 Cub Cadet Yanmar and also has larger cylinders than the JD790.

Just the fit and finish of both tractors. The EX3200 Cub Cadet Yanmar has a much nicer front grille guard for more protection than the JD 790.
Cub Yanmar Head lights are also brighter and a nicer look to them than the jd
FEL Arm's are heavier

EX3200 Cub Cadet Yanmar is just a great tractor. It's one of the best values on the market today.

Cub Cadet Yanmar has a nice rubber pad on brake. Cub Cadet Yanmar just seems to pay attention to detail on this New tractor.
Loader mount is Heavy Duty on the Cub Cadet Yanmar EX3200

Kevin,

Do you know offhand what the financing options are? You can PM me if you'd prefer.

I got a price from a local dealer of $22,900 for EX3200, CL300 loader, & CB75 backhoe. Not too bad. I may want to go take a look.

I notice the plumbing is LOOSE HOSES on the CUB vs nice tight piping on the Deere...seems there is a possibility of a snag waiting to happen...

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

The FINISH on the CUB seems to have left a bit to be desired...is that RUST mark on the loader mount?

Altenators are much more effective than dynamos at charging, hence most cars changed over in the late 1960's.

Technically speaking, there is no difference, an alternator is considered a type of generator, but let's not be picky about that minor detail.

The main difference is that generators are DC and alternators are AC output devices.

define:alternator
Quote:
A device which produces alternating current (AC) by converting the engine's turning (mechanical) energy into alternating electrical current at all engine speeds. The AC must be rectified (converted from AC to DC) before reaching the vehicle's electrical system. The alternator is driven by a belt at the front of the engine.
www.peiauto.com/dictionary/a.shtml

This unit converts the 12-volt DC (Direct Current) from the battery into AC (Alternating Current) at the rate of 13.8 to 14.2 volts, which is necessary to operate your car's performance and electrical systems. By nature, alternating current is generated at a higher rate and is more stable. This is critical to automotive application.
www.carshowtomt.com/glossary/Welcome.html
As per the definitions above, AC output is greater, at the same RPM, and the AC current is more stable, therefore easier to regulate and otherwise manage. (Another big difference is that the alternator's output is at a constant rate, regardless of rotational speed, whereas the generator's output is variable, depending on RPM).

No rust just reflection, You really need to look at both of these tractors in person to make a good judgement. There is no question after looking at both which one is the improved tractor. While they are both built by Yanmar, It seem Yanmar waited till they put their name on it before beefing it up. The hose routing is awsome and protected, there is 4 hoses that are slightly loose on the inside of the loader arms but I really don't see them getting caught on anything. The things I have noticed getting broke off are the fittings on the outside of the rams on the jd. We have seen 2 broke off on different JD's and we don't even sell JD's.
I only see el cheepo vs good alt. You need to try to add 4 work lights to el cheepo one and see what happens.
Don't get me wrong Yanmar has made some great tractors for John Deere and still does.

So far all the John Deere guys that bleed green have been very impressed by the Cub Cadet Yanmar after seeing it in person. We are currently doing a home show with these tractors and they are getting just as much interest as the Kubota's. I have not had a bad comment yet from all the people looking at them.
