Default What one item put on your tractor helped the most???

My 2305 is used for grass cutting 80% of the time. I love the FEL , MMM, toolbox and Box Blade. The one item that stands out the most is quick turn knob. Wow what a nice add on. Now mine was not cheep but oh so nice.

John Deere 2305, 200CX, 62MMM, iMATCH, 800lb Weight Box, 826D Snowblower, 4FT Frontier Box Blade, Markham Welding Toothbar, Toro Super Recycler, Stihl KM55R Power Unit, FS Line Head, FCS Edger, HS45 Hedge Trimmer, FS80 Brushcutter, BG85 Blower, Star Sprayer, Herd M96 Spreader.

Well no BH but I can see it being a very usefull tool. Maybe some day. I to like all the others but I would never have thought a $40.00 add on would make my life a lot better.

I guess I should have said the least expensive item that made the biggest difference. My little toolbox would be next then my 12 volt powerport.

It's all good thanks for the post!!!

Front End Loader. If you've never had one on a tractor then it's true, you don't miss it, can get by being creative but...on the other hand if you've had one, lost it (sold the tractor etc..) you know it's the first thing to add after you've acquired another tractor.

The least expensive and most useful tool I've added is a thatch-rake. Cheap 'cause I made it myself and so pleasantly surprised because it works so well. Hardly comes off one of my little Yanmars as I use it to clean ditches, retrieve gravel/rocks and groom several areas after digging, box-blading or pre-seeding newly developed areas of my property. Costs to build were about $60. for the tines, materials on hand and about 6 hours to make.

When I need to pick up/move something: the FEL. When I need to dig, the toothbar. When I need to deal with snow, the cab/blower. When I need to spread fertilizer, the pto spreader. When I need to spray, the sprayer.

I think they're all handy and necessary!

Cheers

In terms of productivity for the work I have done since last May, I have to say the GRAPPLE!

Massive amounts of brush, pieces of large trees, 200 lb. rocks, timbers, old fence line, etc. etc. All cleared, moved, piled without ever getting off the tractor.

Kubota BX2350 and more attachments than I have sense to operate.

On the CUT, the only things added after the purchase are, home made forks for the bucket, a quick mount hitch, and hooking up the auto leveling feature for the 3pt.

Mounted the level sensor to the QM hitch so any attachment that fits, I can at the flick of a switch keep the attachment level.

I find all 3 items useful and the combo of the QMH and leveling sensor to be sweet.

Never have added anything to the GT but when I purchsed it I swapped out the stk mower deck the the HD model. Made all the diff in whether I could cut the tall grass I was having to contended with at the time. Stk deck was useless.

Still searching for that bottomless tank of fuel.

2005 Cub 3204 48" deck
Yanmar Fx24D
5' Howse rotary mower
