Gotta tell ya, I was replacing the exhaust on my Ram and having some difficulty loosening the v-clamp from the head-pipe to the turbo. I had cleaned up the threads with a wire brush and oiled them, but it felt like the threads would bind up and snap it off. I'm trying to work it off slowly, when UPS shows up with my sample can of Fluid Film. I figure it's the perfect place to try it. I was surprised how easily the nut came off after I coated it with Fluid Film. Then after I had it off, I took it to the bench, cleaned the threads again and recoated with Fluid Film...it worked good as new.
Dan, you got me sold...now just tell me how to order more. BTW thanks for the sample!!![]()

Hey, thanks for the feedback! You can find your closest dealer by visiting our website at Fluid Film: Corrosion Preventive, Lubricant and Rust Inhibitor and clicking on the header, "How Do I Get It?" We have a dealer locator listed under that heading as well as some online dealers. We are also sold nationally through John Deere farm equipment dealers.
Thanks for supporting the product!
Fluid Film is a great product.
People keep asking what makes Fluid Film different from its competitors. First of all, Fluid Film contains no solvent. It remains super slick and doesn't get gummy or tacky. It does not burn greenery and wont harm paint, plastic or rubber. There's just so many positive things to say about it, I'd fill up pages writing on it.![]()
