For the first time in like 2.5 years, I'm in the black!!!!!

Good thing too, since this is now my full time gig.

I'm excited.

Good thing about this business is its mostly a cash business. Like a Pizzeria you can show as much as you want to to just be profitable, and keep it looking good enough to be left alone by the IRS.

Congratulations LC!!! My business is now 19 months old and I am still running WAY in the red. I don't even buy black pens anymore.

BTW, just happened to pass my dream machine this afternoon on the way home from the hospital: a near new 2007 CAT 303C CR mini-excavator with thumb and less than 200 operating hours.

Just one minor problem: The owner/seller wants $42K!!!

me too
it's about 6 years old now and I was making a little money, but nothing to go full time
about 2 years ago got this great idea (?) to expand and do something different.
well, it's been a rough two years.
although I have a TON of cool equipment. (and really, isn't that all that matters )

I keep trying to tell myself that owning cool equipment is it's own reward... each time my belly is empty and there isn't a crumb of food left in the entire house!
