Exclamation Does anybody have a problem with Political Threads?

For me I couldnt care less if they exist or they go - I just feel its a good way to sound off every once and a while. Again there is no perfect balance between what you want to hear and see (always two sides to a postion), but right now I feel its been well behaved and managed. If this is not true and Im missing something, now is the time to speak up -

Either cast a vote or PM me with your concerns or suggestions

I believe it is well managed. The MU members although widely divergent are pretty well behaved here. Probably because most of them got booted out of other sites. Jay

well I'm certainly part of the ex-communication group and I'm damn proud of it Wouldn't change it for the world

Anyway I agree with what you said. Thats exactly how I see it being managed. I just want to squash any "perceived issue" that may not actually exist. Perception is everything as long as its based on fact.

I think it is well managed. I haven't seen anyone being disrespectful of others or getting personal. People are going to disagree on politics - that's life.

I don't have a problem with political comments but think we should try and steer away from personal critism. But sometimes it is a fine line between being critical of a political position and a personal attack. I'll let the Admin handle that fine line.

Real good feedback -

Overall I want to mention this is a tractor site first and foremost (commercial products included), and a off-topic/political forum last.

So far its been a good balance with a good mixture of the above. Hope to see it more in the tractor percentage, but Im not complaining...

I guess for some politics is personal. Thats unfortunate - nobody is here to hurt feelings

I think they're managed well - politics tend to get out of hand on many other forums, but they seem to do fine here.

I think its managed fine. to me its all just good fun.
to be honist it dont matter if your demacrat or republican.
everyone on the hill is crooks. or thay will become one in time.
of the 2 that are running. neather one is going to really do anything.
its just the way it is. I speak my mind. and if i offend anyone, I am not sorry. i just tell it like it is. the big deal in this election will only be if obama
becomes pres. he will be the first black man in office. that will play out for a while. after that , nothing will change. take the fact that he is a black man out , and the election is really like any other. thay will tell us all what thay will do in order to get our vote. once in office. thay will kiss big corprate
companies butt. and us little people that acualy haft to pay for Gas and power and insurance and food. will be left out in the cold for 4 more years,
then it starts over.

until this war Chit is over ( at 70 Million a day )
and stop letting all manufacturing be made over seas with inferior
products. and control this Oil crap. we are not going to get back on track.

Now tell me i am not telling it like it is.....
