I got ahead of myself but its a good thing that will help us Talley points for contests in the future! Did I say contests? yes I did, that and giveaways....I have to posts details later on that but the points thingy you see does an automatic Talley based on measuring criteria (like posts, referrals, threads, etc..) makes my life easier when its time to give things away and give Kudos to those who earned it....

The details on the contests/giveaways will follow in the next few weeks - as soon as I get all the details together

It should be fun for all

Jay
points are simple to add up, in a plus column, and equally in the minus column,

For instance, the other night when you asked, is Dougster (NOT) fit to live with pigs, and I said, beg your pardon, I think he is..
you may gain points up or down depending on how the point giver feels at the time. Boy, I get a kick out of helping those to get in the "know".

Larry:

Just when I thought Dougster was calming down; you go and get him worked up again if he reads your post . I think right now he is out booby- trapping his yard to keep his neighbor's lawnmower off his property . I also thought you got points for driving infractions- I got 19 points in VT one night for speeding in my Honda CRXSi. Jay

You might have the reputation point confused with this new tool (not yet tied into a contest giveaway)

I dont like the idea of reputation points - its just down right silly and causes more harm than good

what this is all about is during the period of a month - he who has the most point wins a giveaway or something thats not yet determined.

what it does is add up posts/threads/referrals and what ever else that is suitabl, and gives you a running total at the end of the month.

Its autmated for me, so I dont have to think or stress who wins at the end - its done for me

I have to get the ground work done before I announce the details...hang tight should be fun

Fear not Jay - I have developed a complete immunity to Larry's assorted stories and lines of BS.

Bet you wish you had too!
