Its a smart & clever way for creating site traffic.
They are social bookmarking buttons. The little man with the shovel, that’s Digg (A place where you can submit your articles / post to be Dugg) Digg is a huge traffic site and as people “digg” your article, it moves closer to the homepage. If you write a post / article and digg it and it makes dig.com’s homepage, our hosting will literally Jump up and down from the traffic it will bring.
The others are del.is.cious, Technorati, and Furl
Its totally optional visiting each of those sites, signing up (it’s free) and if someone post something that you or anybody think is very well written, and useful to others, submit it to each of those sites using those icons. This also creates backlinks to our site, from those websites, and they are High PageRank Websites, which will help boost our rankings.
Just another step in laying out the ground work to be #1 | | | |
