Thumbs up New look, features and function at the Machine Underground!

Machine Underground has just added a plethora of new features, here are just a few:

You Tube Video Linking - Now able to view and link some of the latest videos in music, tractors, entertainment and more.. (Linking available to site supporters only)

Reciprocal Friendships Between Users -As part of our new social networking system, users can now request that people on their buddy list confirm their friendship, after which time a person's list of confirmed friends will be viewable to other users. (available to site supporters only)

Public Messaging- While private messages between users have been available M.U introduces the public messaging system, allowing users to communicate publicly via their profile pages.

User Picture Galleries-
Machine Underground users can now create albums and upload pictures to their account. (available to site supporters only)

User-Created Social Groups-
To further social cohesion between users and to encourage people to make friends, M.U now includes a facility to allow users to create their own social/interest groups.
These groups are enhanced by having their own public messaging system, and the ability to add pictures to the group from user albums.

New Member Profile Page-
In order to accomodate all the new features now offered, the member profile page has been completely redesigned from the ground up.
The new page presents information in a far cleaner and more logical manner, while dividing up information into manageable chunks using a tabbed interface.
Individual profile field categories can be displayed alone in blocks in the right column, in addition to appearing by default in the 'About Me' tab.

Member Customization of Profile Page-
The user may choose to use the profile page customization tool, which allows users to alter fonts, colors, background and borders etc. of their profile page in order to create a more personalized look. (available to site supporters only)

What does this all mean? Just a new way to provide an truly enjoyable experience with exciting ways to socially network with members not yet found on any other tractor forum

Some of these advanced features are only available by being a site supporter of the Machine Underground through this link below:

Update for 11/09/2008

Well, by now you see the new layout is up. Along with the new look you will see more navigational links to hopefully allow you to get around the site a little easier and we've separated the default vbulletin features from the add ons.

Also, there is now a live ajax search. Simply start typing your search text in the box beside Videos, and the search results will open in a box.

For the advertisers, the only change in layout is the forum sponsor banners are now located in the right column, as this will provide you with above the fold visibility (meaning people don't have to scroll down the page upon visiting the site before seeing your banner).

As always, if there are any issues, feel free to PM me or better yet, let Ducati996 know and they will be resolved.

Enjoy!

Thumbs up

We will also be offering a new Classifieds area to buy and sell equipment or anything the Site supporter chooses to sell! It will be ebay style, along with the option of a auction, and payments via paypal.

Check it out in the next day or two -

Enjoy!

Duc
