My personal opinion is that Woods is the bench mark for backhoes, that the tractor manufactures should strive for - almost every aspect of their backhoe is either superior or significant in performance - and most times less expensive. Feature such as mechanical or hydraulic thumb, curved boom, better digging forces, better warranty, keeps me up at night - 
Not enough dealers push the line, and I never heard a negative about them.

I just noticed a new 6000 series on e-bay, think it was $3000. Nice price if it can be had for that. |

Yeah, that should work nicely on any 2000 series! That's about half the retail price, if that's where it settles out. |
