I got it installed in no time at all with quicktach on the loader. I did get two stumps dug up, but feel I should have more to show for a sunny weekend. The last attachment is a short video my wife made of me moving a rock, tried to pick up two at once, but the other rolled out the side, so I ended up with a losided load. For every stump dug up I get at least one monster rock, often two to four big'uns the grapple is going to be a grand addition, love it.
Oh man!!! You are cooking with gas now old Timster!!! What a nice grapple!!!

Glad you aren't any closer to me or I'd have even MORE competition to worry about!!!

Tim , i dont think i would pick up a rock that big on the corner of the grapple. i would try to get it centered, you could see your left rear tire come off
the ground when you stopped. i wouldn't want you to tweak a loader arm.
great vids though.

Chris....

Wish I had a dollar for every rock I managed to get perfectly centered in my root/rock grapple!

Why I'd be... still dirt stinkin' poor just like I already am.

They do seem to roll where they want to, maybe I'll get better with practice, Lord knows I've got plenty of rocks (boulders) to mule to my pile. That rock was to be one of a twofer but the other rolled right off the grapple side. For you Chris, I'll try to do better.

On a serious note: I'd like to grow old whole, so will try not to foolishly put the Kubota on it's side.

The reason my future horse area still has stumps securely anchored, instead of piled roots and all out of the way is chickens! The farm wife wants the farm life and I'm the mule making it happen (just kidding, she works harder then me). So these pictures belong in this thread.

It's a great goal Tim, but the reality is that you grab what you can where you can with these monsters and perfection is a goal best left to chefs, artists and musicians... not us ditch diggers!

Well, make sure you get your poison bait stations set up...chickens attract rodents...

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

Roger that Paul. Someone (not me) was out watering the veggie plot at 11pm last night, got to see the first predator probing the defences. Trying the steel window grates, trying the latches, crawled under the coop.,To no avail, our added security screens/fencing etc. foiled his(her) late night nosh. No picture this time but the skunk waddled away defeated for now.
We'll see what happens when a pro tries .. RACCOON!! It's only a matter of time, those tricksters will come along sometime.
We do have too many, but I'd rather thin the flock without a bloodbath.
