Still weighing the options. Right now the 2610 is $1500 more than the bx24. However, MF offers 50 months of 0% financing.

I'm still on the fence. I have Massey dealers located close to my home in Connecticut and New Hampshire. I haven't had personal experience with either dealer so I don't know what their responsiveness would be nor do I know how well the Kubota dealers in my area would respond.

Good luck with your decision. I have had my BX24 for quite some time now, so if you have any specific questions I can try and answer them for you.

As far as needing hydraulics at low idle....Why? It would serve no purpose.....I don't even drive my tractor at idle, so what punction could I perform that would be necessary at idle? I start my tractor, let it warm up for about 45 seconds, then raise my RPM's to say 2500....Then I curl my backhoe bucket (uncurled when parked so as not to hold water), make sure the backhoe's stantions are fully up, then lift the bucket....I would never try to dig, plow, scoop, scrape, mow or anythign else I can do with my tractor at idle....I guess, I just don't see the need....

Anyways, I am in Connecticut, and so far, I love my BX24.....

Again, Good luck....
