I'm starting to think that a couple more attachments will be smarter than a cab. Not positive yet, but leaning toward the open station.

Chris....
Sounds like the gutter downspouts drainage system my GF wanted installed on her inner city condo... in a path between house and hedges that was all of 3 feet wide. That was the day I figured out that there was a real use for those tiny little micro-excavators!

[ for my tractor, but this is for a planned trade up to a 3320, More info makes for a better decision! [/quote]
---------------snipped---------------------

If this is the case then why not just flat get a JD 110, L39/49/M59 Kubota, and one of my favorites the CBL40 Yanmar? At least with the Yanmar, it is pretty small, has 3 pumps like other commercial machines and the ability with 3pt hitch to do all that is needed.. A very well designed small. commercial machine that would cover all your needs and probably for many years to come... And, I am well aware of the area you live in,, Didn't live too far from there and ran the Ho CHi Mihn each week for many a year till PA shut it down to 18 whlrs. Knowing your area, the Yanmar or 39/110 will last you your lifetime or damned near it.

There's something to be said for the excitement durring the decision making process before the purchase, there is a bit of stress also. I'm glad those three months are behind me. Oh yeah, I felt/feel no buyers remorse.....

Spend your money wisely, and get the right machine.

.... Tim

Larry , i think i can answer some of this. one the L39 or 110 is way to heavey for his yard. he mentioned not tracking the yard. and thay will surly do that, and also we are still talking about more money any of these with any options is $ 40,000 a bit more than a 3320 .
and three as we discussed earlier he dont need a commercial machine.
there is a just want factor involved. Craig will chime in , but i bet one these things i am pretty close.

T'ain't nothin! I like the JD line, and the utility versions are about the right size/weight for what I need. If I ever considered going commercial, I'd jump right into a 110 or M59, they are the right choice for that kind of job. I've got most of the big stuff done in the yard, so I want to tread a little lightly as I get into the finish work. I also spend a bunch of time, for the fun of it, helping out family and friends where I can, and I don't want to leave a mess for all my help. I'm just enjoying working through the next purchase, and formulating what I want and can't live without.
