ITYBITY,

there is a dedicated older thread on this subject but Rimguard is a non-corrosive form of liquid wheel weights. great stuff and adds serious ballast to your machine. really helps out on stability issues and FEL ballast.
Strongly suggested!

BTW welcome to the group at M.U! glad you made it here, and how did you learn about us?

No problem at all and if you need more info on the 2620 i think you will find what you need here - we have a few onwers on-site and the machine has had some great feedback already.

Let us know where you are located - we have sponsors here that are dealers and maybe able to help you (depending on location)

Hey...you're just north of my cousins, one who farm 10,000+ acres and the other who farms 8200+ acres in the area of Red River of the North...in North Dakota...

When I visit, I fly into Winnipeg from Montreal on AirCanada and drive down, because it is the most direct air route...

Welcome ITYBITY, As others have mentioned this is a great site you can learn a lot from the tractor veterans as I have. I recently purchased the Kubota 2620 and I also have Rim Guard in my back tires. Whatever tractor you decide on deffinitly Rim Guard is the way to go it will not eat away at your rims and rear ballast is a must!!!

As far as the 2620 it is an awsome tractor. I previously owned a sub compact (smaller tractor made by N.H.) Although not a bad little machine I needed more of a machine personally. The 2620 is awsome, and a great size for your 5 acres. I think you will be pleased if you go this route. What are you planning on mowing w/ and how much mowing will be done on your 5 acres? Any questions you can think of on the 2620 feel free to give me a shout I will be happy to help you!!! Good Luck

Kubota 2620, loaded R4's, FEL, FROPS, 4FT Bush Hog box blade, 5ft Bush Hog landscape rake, Toro TimeCutter Z ZTR 5060 w/ 50" deck
