Default Wheel Spacers

I have quite a bit of hills on the property and even w/ my bigger tractor upgrade (heavier and filled R4's) I still feel a bit uneasy in these areas. Can someone shed some feedback on what wheel spacers would do for this problem, and wether I need them on the fron or rear only or both? Thanks Guys

You might have to work with your dealer to help you find spacers for both front and back. providing the rears are already positioned at their widest settings (valve steam inside), the spacers do place a load limit on the axles but I suppose the trade off is minimal since you get a more stable machine.

Valve stems are on the outside w/ my tractor. I do have the rears loaded. In turning them around how much would I gain? Also would you recomend front spacers and leave the backs alone? Thanks!!!

From a safety standpoint you'd be better off tackling the hills by going up/dn and not transversing them.

Do you have any idea what the incline is on the hills? Is it enough to be really concerned or is it just an uneasy feeling you have?

Yes I do try to go up and down in most cases. But sometimes when you get to the top there is a need to manuver around until you get into a comfortab le position. I plan on box blading a good majority of 2 acres and am wondering if I am going to need to do this constantly going up and down which to me does not seem to appealing. I am not sure of the actual slope what I can tell you is I mow these slopes w/ no issue on my ZTR and there is no fear of roll over.

Not sure if its enought to be concerned or just aq feeling of uneasyness. I actually felt like I might tip this past weekend and I had an empty bucket. I could just be over paronoid as I am very cautious of this happening too!!!

stems should be inside with loaded tires for the most part this will provide you the maximum width. Dont know the gain but on most machines that size at a 1" or more

CONFIRM with dealer that adding wheel spacers will NOT VOID your warranty...

I use spacers on my 2210 with a great deal of success. The difference in stability is fantastic. Before I installed them, my dealer and I had a long discussion about the impact on the tractor driveline. Both agreed that the spacers would have a minimal impact on the driveline yet yielding a major impact on stability. Well, after a year I have to agree with this as the tractor is far more stable, and yet I've noticed no obvious strain on the driveline.

If I were to change to another tractor, I wouldn't hesitate to have spacers installed.

Cheers
