Points: 0 | Wow, what a difference! You just don't realize the size difference til you put'em side by side. I can see the advantage of having the proper sized equipment, or a bit bigger, for the job. | JD 2520 w/46bh, 200cx loader, meyers 6ft plow

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

Points: 0 | all of you are missing the most important point,, that little deere could do the exact same as the 39 only taking more time to do so, IF, IF it had three pumps to operate hoe as the 39 does, or the 48 or new 59 or the deere's 110. three pumps make it a commercial operating machine. The deere in the picture does not have this option and even if you added a pto pump, it is almost totally impossible for the pto pump to be hooked into the swing circuit and till operate,.. | "this morning I woke up with nothing to do, it is now afternoon and I have over half of it done".

Points: 69 | I found the 46BH a very capable tool for its size. It has good power (is it enough? there is no such thing as too much), what always effected me was the reach ability - short and stubby accounts for frequent postion changes. Its very capable unit ( I have a thread posted here digging out a huge maple stump). While this isnt really a comparision between the two model in any shape or sense, it was just to show the size difference between them. I will most likely keep it (46BH unless somebody convinces me to get rid of it ) because I still run into access limits, and 61" openings compared to 72" come into play still...and no matter what the 46BH beats the dickens out of a shovel 100% of the time. And one less Amigo bandito I need on the job site | New to the Fold: Kubota L39 w/grapple, pallet forks, BH QA buckets, and more!
