Exclamation Another Ammo price increase!

Just in case anyone is planning on stocking up for fall a bit early, now's the time. Ammo manufacturers have announced another major price increase is just a couple of weeks away.

Default It's probably a materials issue...BUT

Couldn't have anything to do with ammunition serialization, could it?...

Is this another "because of China demand" that we hear everywhere? fertilizer (nitrogen & phosphorus specifically ) have gone through the roof this last year, so I guess its effecting ammo -

Yeah...the commodities market is killing us domestically. China and India are in this market big-time, along with oil (China is filling it's own strategic petro reserves - to be completed in 2010 instead of the decades most countries take ), and prices continue to skyrocket. Market speculation on futures has also provided a large influence upwards.
To follow in the near future will be the increases brought about by our own legislatures and congress passing more laws, as Paul mentioned.
