Points: 0 | Kenny , i got Hydraulic fluid today Kenny , i went to JD dealer today. to get fluid for Hydraulics.
told him what i told yall about steering not as good hot. as you know its about 100 degrees here. So this is the fluid he told me to use. its not even in my manual. its Hyguard , but its a different number all together. he said it extream tempiture fluid. for places that is very hot. and should not break down as fast as the stock stuff. it is compatible with my other fluid. so he said it wont hurt my warrenty. it comes in 2.5 gallon bottles I bought 2. so it should be easier to work with. it is expensive as hell. about $20 more than a regular 5 gallon bucket of Hyguard. 5 gallons was $ 90.00.....
he said its the best JD sales. here is a picture of the bottle.
Foot note he said from factory stock fluid has dye and breakin agents in it.
should get it out soon as possable.
what do you think

Points: 0 | Chris,
I went to the Amsoil synthetic (ATH05) for the same reason and believe it helps. But it was even more expensive (5 gals for $149.19 including tax and shipping). | Cheers

JDF , i thought about going the synthetic way. but right now i am still
under warrenty. and JD made it clear this high temp fluid would not affect my warrenty. maybe next time i will go synthetic. but the next change is at 200 hours. and i have 62 on it now. i am sure by then i will have a bigger tractor.... | John Deere 2520 , R4's , 200CX loader with 61 inch bucket and JD Tooth Bar.
