Default 2520 Diverter Project Continued

Hey guys:
Wanted to update you on my diverter valve project. I had 3/8in hoses made up with quick connects to hook into my diverter valve. The hoses are the ones going vertically from the valve - you can see the green cap on one of the hoses to the right. Also, included pics of my Otto Joystick handle with sealed switch which controls the solenoid on the diverter valve. Michael Ames fabricated the connection from the handle to the joystick - he did a fantastic job and was great to work with. When holding the red button the solenoid activates and diverts the hydraulic flow from the curl/dump funtion to open / close for grapple or angle on plow etc. The hoses follow the other hydraulic lines - I have them zip tied to the hard lines and down the loader arms. I haven't decided how to end the line ie not sure where I want my bulkhead yet. If you guys have suggestions that would be great - debating between out to the mid point of the loader vs keep it on the loader arm. Anyway, hope this helps others out - it has been and continues to be a fun project.

Cheers,
Brad

Good to go! Looks like you are ready.

The grapple is the easy part.

Kubota BX2350 and more attachments than I have sense to operate.

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

Thanks guys - Paul, I do have a tarp I am covering the tractor with until I build a "home" in the spring. That is a good suggestion though I will check it out. Kenny, how is your joystick working out? Will update once the grapple is hooked up and running....

Hey guys, what joystick is that?

I'm still using a toggle switch hanging off the side of my "shifter knob".

.

The joystick I am using is not nearly as cool as Kenny's but works great for my application. It is made by a company called Otto Engineering (Otto Engineering) and the part number is U2-122 (see attached PDF) It is completely sealed and the switch is large enough to use with gloves in the winter. I ordered mine from Peerless Electronics which is a distributor for Otto. Hope that helps, Brad
