I think you'll do fine with 60" or smaller. There's a learning curve with the box blade, but you'll have fun (more seat time) mastering it. |

Welcome to MU and congratulations on your new tractor  ! I agree with gunmaker. I would also recommend that you size your BB wider than your tire width. There are many factors involved with BB selection: traction (tractor weight, tire type, 4WMFWD/2WD, etc.), 3 point hitch lift capability, balance of rig, and material you will be working with your BB. Some materials are harder to work than others which would require a smaller size BB. Generally the heavier the better, but you will pay for it  ! I was just concerned that the manual said no bigger than a 53" and 385lbs. The 3pt can lift over 1000lbs. Again I dont know anything. It sure is fun tearing stuff up w/ the new bb. Thanks everyone for your help. | | | |
