Default Hi All, another Canadian

Hi folks,

Live in SW Ontario. Not too far from Port Dover for those of you who are bikers and go to the Friday the 13th celebations. This year they counted 12,000 bikes showing up and about 150,000 people. Bit of a crowd for a place that only has 10,000 residents.

Anyhow, couple and 1/2 acres, pretty well flat that I have been trying to get in some kind of shape.

Have a Cub 7304 ( 30 HP ), toothbar on the loader, 6 foot blade, cultivator that I can't figure out how to work and a plow that I don't need but was part of a deal and off brand quick hitch for the implements.
Pretty inexperienced with tractors and trying to find the learning curve.
Got a couple of issues with the tractor after getting the ROPS caught up in a tree but will post in the CUB forum about it.

Nice site, been reading on it for a while. Seems like a bunch of nice folks.

Have a great evening and rest of the weekend.

Tom

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

tomwilli:

Welcome to MU ! The honest operators here will admit to having had "learning curve" experiences . Even after 25 years of tractor operation I still on occasion learn "learn" something new , but I have not had an experience in awhile. Jay

Good evening all,

Thanks for the welcomes. Will be sure to watch out for all the " sters ".

Gunmaker, would probably have seen you at the Hamilton Air Show as I tried to support it by attending most years. Too bad they had to cancel it but insurance premiums just became too high to be affordable and they lost City grants.

Green ???? Jeez.............. I have a Green and Orange dealer less than a mile away and doesn't matter what compact tractor I ask about, the answer is always the same
" oh, about $20 K ". After a while, it just becomes entertaining. Needless to say, that is 1 of the reasons I don't have a Green or an Orange and why I bought Stateside instead of local.

Ok, so now I am down to 3 more posts so that I can stick around. Will see what I can do about it.

Have a great evening and hope everyone is well and not too badly affected by the weather.

Later
Tom
