You can lift the same amount of brush with a narrow or a wide grapple. I actually really like the Borgford Bodozer clamshell type of grapple. But you're talking about $3,500!! I'll see if I can put up some more grapple pics later when I get home. I am currently at work and have no access to my pics or my tractor! I miss it! I sure hope it's okay without me there!

PS: I had links to the Markham welding grapple rake and the Borgford grapple but apparently I can't do that since I haven't posted 5 times yet! What's up with that?! Just go to Markhamwelding dot com and Borgford dot com.

We all go through the "5 post "thing, just do it qick and then post links, pictures, etc.

This grapple is a W.R.Long from their site, (not my tractor). I ordered one about a week ago, was told 2 1/2 to three week wait. Sorry about the picture quality. It weighs 490 lbs, that leaves me 1,159 lbs to full height, according to the specs on my L35..Should be enough.

Below is an Anbo, what a beauty, mean and evil looking and only 400 lbs (I was told) Thought long and hard, but......

.... at $3,300.00 had to be prudent. Don't get me wrong, I'm eagerly waiting for the Long... and I think it'll be just fine for my needs, as long as I'm careful when I attack the rocks ...

I really like the looks of that Anbo, very similar to the Borgford grapple. With one of those open-faced clamshell type grapples I would be able to pull up fence posts with ease. I've got close to a mile of horse fence I would like to remove!

If it's bigger and more expensive then it has to be better!

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.
