One of these days I need to get some kind of storage box/bin secured to the Kubota..Good job framer, much better than piling chains under your feet.
For the ballast box..I just filled mine with enough scrap metal (old brake rotors) so the loader bucket full of dirt/stones felt safe.

Thanks guys.
Fasten tool box with the two existing bolts on each side of fel. braces.
I think one pic. shows. I will use metal sraps to control weight.
Next project is to put receiver hitch in the bottom of ballest box to use plow thougt
the added weight would help. Any thoughts about my B7800 pulling it. Im a New tracktor owner. Forum been blessing. Thanks framer.

Welcome to the M.U and thank you for the kind words about the site!
You do great work, its looks right at home -

As for the ballast box, have no fear the 7800 is a beast and will lift whatever you decided to put in it. Portland cement is a good choice and permanent (which is good) - it is also the more heavier of the ready mix cement and will make that box weigh easily 1K lbs or more. The 7800 will lift it with no problem

For snow removal a rear blade is great to have but doesn't provide all the ballast you need, so maybe having the tires filled will be a good compliment.
