Default Grandma's gone green!

Prior to my Dad's passing recently, I had taken on the responsibility of maintaining Mom & Dad's home. Well last summer, when considering options for lawn care, I felt that Dad's ole Wheel Horse w/ standard trans wouldn't do for Mom. (Bad hip and arthritis) So I asked her what she thought, and she expressed a desire for a tractor like mine. Soooo, with a little arm twisting and much to Dad's chagrin, I relented and headed off to my local JD dealership, Bill the owner took it over from his Dad...good people, we set Mom up with a little hydrostatic LX series, complete with snowplow and suitcase weights. Now Mom can be seen puttin round the yard winter or summer, the proud momma of a lil green machine.
I went over today, serviced it, took off the deck and installed the plow, chains and weights. It's good to see her enjoying the green...Now I know where I got my good taste from!

Mom's 73, but acts like she's 29. Broke her hip and wrist clearing the remains of the last snowstorm, last season, but we got her patched up and re-hab'd better'n new! Can't keep up with her now!
