Default 3520 tippy?

So I drove my first tractor A 3520 at the dealers on tarmac, some slopes. To me it felt a bit top heavy, I don't know if that was first tractor experience or if it really would take a tumble easily on a slope. I see that some people put wheel extensions on this thing.

Dealer price was $24,500 that he wrote on the brochure so I have to assume bare bones. That seems very high.

Welcome to the HIGH PRICE OF GREEN...

Go out and sample some more tractors...you will note that they all feel similar based on comparative HP...

Wheel Extensions? Do you mean the ability to widen the tire footprint with wider axles?

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

Yes like these Unverferth Wheel Hub Extensions

I think the dealer price was high given the price the configurator gives - $19,799. There must be more to it, like tax or extra options, but he didn't say.

That price does seem a little high. as for tippy , all i can tell you
is on flat pavement me and a friend of mine rocked a 3320 with a cab.
and 2 of us could get a rear tire off the ground. on flat pavement.

made me a little nervious.....

tried the same thing with my 2520 , and could not do it.
course i had the hoe and loader on my 2520 witch would weigh
more than the 3320 with cab with nothing on it. but still.
the cab really puts the weight up high.

but i bet 10 of us cant rock a L39 and get a tire off the ground...
7000 is hard to move....

Well, before you put those extensions on a new tractor make sure you get it in writing that the modification is approved!!

Otherwise if you suddenly have drive problems, the manufacturer can cut you loose with an UNAPPROVED modification to the tractor...

I wasn't planning on getting the extensions. I'm just concerned about the stability of the tractor on slopes and that may be a deciding factor on what tractor I buy. I like the features of the 3520, this is just giving me pause. Still, other dealers to try and more tractors to ride

Most CUT's feel tippy, mostly due to their relatively narrow footprint and high center of gravity. I really do not like leaning more than 15 degrees on my "29", but I do sometimes. Pucker power is your best gauge of lean. Skid marks in your shorts is an even better indicator of dangerousness of lean. Weighted tires help the stability factor, and it is best to work up and down slopes than across. Jay

I added 70 lb. weights to each rear wheel and it gives it a better feel.
Also made an adapter out of steel pipe and can place barbell weight discs at the drag bar area. right now I have 80 lbs. on it.

You can also have the rear tires filled with liquid ballast.

As Jay noted, it's sideways on hills where it will give you the creeps.
Don't ever raise a full FEL bucket while leaning sideways, Never!

Kubota BX2350 and more attachments than I have sense to operate.
