Thumbs up 2520 and its lifting abilities

Just recently had to move a car port kit that weight just over 800 lbs (weigh bill handy) with 5 boxes all together on one skid. I had to remove them from the delivery truck length wise not width wise (tight squeeze between other boxes) and the 2520 did it without complaint. I was definitely at the maximum but it handled it smoothly. I was very happy not having to move this stuff box by box. Keeping this all in mind along with the Horst 42" pallet forks (HD3742 405 lbs), pretty much confirms what I always knew to be true. The 2520 can handle 1,100 -1,200 at full lift....

Some pictures too

seconds, just pull a pin each side, and tilt the implement and it unhooks and drive to the other and slip it on and put back the pins...its a good system from Deere

Seeing the 2520 with a pallet load on the front and no operator, reminded me of a similar situation on mine. I had a full load on the fel, stood up to step down and felt the tractor start to tip forward and down as the balance changed. I've got weights on the rear axle now!

Every pound mattered when I was removing it from the truck at max height - even with the BH and loaded tires it was still very light....

In the pictures I lowered it to where it was stable for me to get off the machine - if it tipped, no harm would have been done at least on the grass, and the material is in boxes, along with the sturdy forks -

Im figuring to have 400 lbs per wheel with Rim Guard as the extra safety margin here...plus my jenny craig taebo sculpured butt of 225 -230 lbs (depending on morning dump) help in keeping the 2520 on the ground -

As KennyD kindly pointed out - I told the world already

The forks arrived before I finalized my next purchase of some orange matter - which will have their own forks. Now having two sets of folks for 2 machines, wasnt one of my better ideas - LOL thats how it worked out
