Default 4310 vs 4320

Hi Guys,

I have now started looking att much larger gear than my original planned 2305, 2320 then 2520. I know want something like a 3720 or 4320, maybe with a cab.

Can you give me a brief overview of the differences between a 4310 and a 4320 other than age?

Also what is the pros and cons of ehydro vs other transmission options?

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

The 4310 (which was my previous unit), was replaced by one of the 3x20 series. The 4x20 series is a larger unit. I think my 3520 is closer to a 4410 and the 3320 is closer to the 4310. It is a matter of horse power and improvements. The 4x10 series tractors have 6 lug wheels and the 3x20 series has 8 lug wheels. wheelbase on both is 68", but i believe the 3x20 series is 2" narrower on the axles.

The 4x10 series starts out at 28hp and goes up to 48hp

The 3x20 series start out at 27 hp and go up to 44hp (3520 and 3720 are turbo-charged)

The 4x20 series start at 40 hp and go up to 58hp

The 3520 is based on Hp rating, in-between the no longer produced, 4410 and the 4510.

the old 4710 OS weighed ~3500 pounds
The 3720 CAB weighs ~ 3570 pounds, OS 2900 pounds
the 4720 CAB weighs 4345 pounds, OS 3700 pounds

I guess JD decided to split the line and make a bigger tractor with the 4x20 series

Regards
