Ya i saw it. you did a great job.
its starting to get cold here. and not really to much tractor
work to do at the moment. as we never get snow....
I figure that may be a good winter project.
i may wait till after christmas.
a friend of mine had a 2x12 in the back of his s-10 and was rearended
and pushed it into the back of his cab. i got cut the front of his bed out and replace it. so that will take some time...

I would most definitely would like to see that when you get a chance - it was on the old forum (cough, cough) and I cant get to it easily -
will make it a sticky for all as well - really gives you an idea of the high end options you can do to the machines -

Oh im doing OK with it now. When I say I think of him everyday. Its a good thought thinking of some funny thing that we did or something he said things like that.He has a daughter and a son.His son was 3 years old and is now 12 I guess wow time flys. His daughter is driving hard to believe its been that long.

I will never forget the strange things that came with that night. That day we were douing some of his winter storage. We went to town where he lived and brought his JD345 and Golf cart out to the farm to store them in the shop they had.We were cleaning tractors up to put them away after fall harvest. We washed his truck and changed the oil.At the end of the day we washed down the shop floor. We were both returning in the morning to work in the shop. That next morning I returned to the shop I had gotten word of what happened. When I went into the shop the floor was almost dry.Except for foot prints that went across the floor where he had walked out the shop door the night before. They were his prints. Was the strangest feeling that those prints were there. As my self and his dad stood there I watched those prints just fade away off that damp concret floor. Its like we got his things like that golf cart in order before he died.

Thats a emotional post Johndeere - Im sorry for the loss, but you are honering him and his family by having these difficult memories. Its all we have at times to make it through the bad times....I have no doubt he watches over you and his family now. You guys were blessed to have each other for that short period of time -
