Default Cemetery Clean Up / Cutting Maple

Hey guys:
Thought you might be interested in some pics of my day cutting up two maple trees and hauling them with my 2520. These two trees were at a small field cemetery across the road from my house where my friend is buried. He was killed in a roll over with his Ford 8N 3 years ago and his widow organized a work day to tidy things up. We are going to plant new trees and replace the fencing around the cemetery. We enjoyed the work and knew our friend was smiling watching us have a good day with our saws and tractors - he was always out in the fields working....

Im really sorry to hear about your friend - I think he would be honered with all the work you are doing for him - its definitely a way to grieve for your friend in the way that matters most -

The 8N's are a widow makers for sure - they should be just for show these days, life is too valuable -

It's always good to remember and to be remembered. The best memories in life always seem to be from doing something nice for someone else.

gunmaker,

Sorry to hear about your friend. I'll bet no one needs to tell you to keep that ROPS up and seatbelt on.

thanks Chris
yea - can't take anything for granted in life just do the best you can each day. I am really having fun with my tractor - it works great to have the bad river hitch system on my iMatch - easy to hook up trailer and has a great turning radius. I did use the chain of course to keep the hitch from going negative on me and move my back end around - pretty heavy load with all of that maple

Cheers,
Brad

Good to see you too! The Bad River works like a dream - locks right in and very well constructed. I also had a great experience dealing with them - friendly and efficient. If you have questions just let me know.

Chris -
Yes indeed - it is great having the 3pt hitch to maneuver trailers around with - saves a lot of time hooking up. Also, did you see my hydraulic top link - that is working great. I really like my rear remote set up let me know once you get started on yours - can't wait to see it.
