    Default Front 3pt hitch

I've seen reference to attachments allowing you to use a york rake or blade on the front of the tractor. JD makes some mention of a front 3pt hitch when they describe their front snowplow attachment for the 3000 series.
    Anyone heard of this?

The front mount rotary brush stands out as one option - I think it might be an after market setup - I recall seeing a mid mount dozer/grader blade setup. Dont think it was from deere directly but could mount to a 3000 series

I saw a front snowblower on a Kubota 30hp or so, using the mid-mount PTO to drive it and it basically hooked on there and stole a remote to move it up and down. (and another to move the chute). It was pretty slick actually.

I have heard of it, but like you said it's for the 3xxx series. Also a lot of European tractors have a front 3PH, you can see references to it in JDParts.

There are also some large AG tractors with front 3PH's.

I recently used a 7' York rake on my 3PH to grade and prep two new lawns for seed. It came off a front hitch on a New Holland skid steer and used the universal quick-attach hitch. On the skid steer, the rake tended to washboard (even with gauge wheels), and all felt my tractor did a better job (although the 7' rake was a bit big for my little tractor . . . 4WD and low-range all the way!). Anyway, I think rakes and blades really work better on the 3PH than the front. Blowers, well that's a different story!
    Cheers
