Thumbs up Just some older project pictures with my "old" 4100

In the days prior to having a backhoe (and a 2520), I did the next best alternative method of digging around stumps with a FEL and toothbar. All the roots were axed. I was successful in clearing about 30 trees and stumps for about 1 acres worth. The 4100 did it without complaint, and only snapped the loader support post bolt. About 80 hrs in all before all trees were out and cleared.

The other sequence of pictures (again with the 4100, which I traded in for a 2520) shows my very successful concrete garden, and how it grows slabs weighing 1500 plus (again this is before the backhoe)and notice the tire squat. There is more buried but its so deep its staying there forever

enjoy!

No back Hoe with the 4100 - I'm pretty sure KennyD has the 4110 which is a great machine with great specs.

Thats why many feel these series are the best in the industry (sound biased I know) but for one they dont have the fancy electronics and they were made by Yanmar and Deere together - the series include 2210, 4010,4100, 4110, 4115, 2305, 2320, 2520

You rarely hear of an issue (major) with these machines IMHO -

Great job Duc as usual!

Chris, the 4110 which I have was the replacement for the 4100-basically it's the same machine. It was introduced the same time the other xx10 machines came out (4210, 4310, 4410 ect.) that replaced the xx00 models (4100, 4200, 4300, 4400 ect.)

John Deere 4110HST
FEL, MMM, FEL Forks (homemade),I-Match, Ballast Box, #380 plow (modified to fit) Markham LD-48 Grapple, and lots of other STUFF.

I do miss my 4100 when i plow the snow with the 4310 and the boom blade - the 4100 was easier.

i remember that you have a turbo charged 4100 then you trade it or found a 4310 - not a bad move I would say
