Oh Lordy!!! One man's "weenie" tire is another man's "low slung" look!!!

I found this picture of two guys... also trying to achieve that cool "low slung" look on their car:

Needless to say, they did not wish to be identified!!!

These guys look way too happy with themselves They must'a done something just off camera. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Why, here's a recent picture of the old Dougster negotiating the purchase of some new tires for his Red Beast:

is the quick attach bach hoe bucket worth the additional expense? or just manually switching buckets ok?

Me dont care a peep about the tire size as long as the ground clearance is there - just my worthless .02 cents

First question, what sized bucket,, for the L 39, the 18" bucket is a great "all around bucket".
Second Q,, yes, yes, and yes.. It takes me 30 seconds to drop a bucket and another 30 to replace with the other... No fuss, no mess, no pins that have to be " driven" in and out like my old Bradco system was..
Third Q.. Best bucket for roots and stumps is the 12 incher. The closer to the width of the crowd stick and the bucket being the same, the safer, quicker it is to pull stumps and break roots,, Just think of an upside down letter "T" hooked to the crowd stick where your bucket hooks to.. The wider the top of the letter "T", the more stress and side stress is put on the crowd and cylinders,, Shorten the top of the letter "T" to the width of the crowd and you have 100% ripping power.,

"this morning I woke up with nothing to do, it is now afternoon and I have over half of it done".
Digging in hard clay is more relaxing to a worm than going fishing..

Larry is right. smaller 12 inch bucket for roots and 18 for a good all round bucket. 24 if your just digging big ditches. and you need a quicktach .
i seen them. its worth the money.

Default not a L39 but........

I love reading this, my new to me L35 has QA loader bucket hook up and QA backhoe buckets, a 12" and I think it's a 16" I'll find out tuesday or wednesday (hopefully) this coming week, the shipper said maybe pickup on monday if not then tuesday... (I'm waiting)

Seeing we're talking modifications.... The fact that it's set up for front hydraulic add-ons has me planning on a GRAPPLE with a for real rock bucket....and soon.

The stump roots will meet the 12" BH bucket asap. Not that I'm excited or anything.

.... Tim
