yeppers
for 50 grand I can buy a hell of a nice full size slightly used backhoe that would be a LOT more useful.

Yes
I agree, I had plenty of work to keep the 48 going, at least for awhile, The last two and half years are dead of any work. We have way too many yuppies and younger moving here from Boston/Hartford areas who., buy small compact machines with add on hoes and work them all day for $ 30.00.. Hard for a person like me, running hoes/excavators/loaders well over 30 years to try and keep up with these new experts in the neighborhood

The only problem with getting a used full size hoe.
is you wont have any option for a 3 point hitch witch the M59
is aimed at.

John Deere 2520 , R4's , 200CX loader with 61 inch bucket and JD Tooth Bar. And Markham 7 tooth. Tooth bar. 46 Backhoe with 16 inch bucket. with Custom made Street Flip pads off a 448 hoe. Foward work lights. Dual rear work lights. Heavy duty Alternator. I-Match , Ballast Box , Frontier BB2060 box blade , Frontier pallet Forks , JD 3 point reciever hitch. and soon A lot more.. and for grass cutting , John Deere GX 255 with 48 inch deck.

In all honesty, we aren't doing any better than he is.. I'm talking incoming monies vs outlay such as mortgage, etc.. What he is referring to is the actual property.,. We do have an awesome property of 12 acres, which is 120 ft or so from the Massachusetts line, 200 yards from an interstate exit and all of this sits on a 200 plus acre waterway which is one small part of a system. We have the largest water frontage of two serarate towns and two states,... The lower field against the reservoir that I just finished cutting is about 6 full acres...

For the price of the M59, you can buy a very decent used full-size backhoe AND a separate tractor for your 3-point work. But seriously now: Is anyone really buying this insanely overpriced digging monster for 3-point work??? The 3-point is actually an option.

BTW, go here: Kubota Tractor Corporation | M Series M59 TLB and click on "Build My Kubota"... then have some fun choosing all your options just like you were a multi-millionaire (i.e., like Paul C or LarryRB). It's great fun playing filthy rich! I got my own personal M59 up to over $63,000 fully decked out!!!

They even let you print out the window sticker so you can hang it on your wall!
