Congatulations on your purchase! Welcome to the MU!

Be carefull when brushcutting because of the low ground clearance, Keep an eye on the Trans Fan when brush cutting.

I have the same tractor and love it.

Great tractor

you know i just looked under the thing to see the little fan. they should really make a cover to protect that thing. maybe a grate of some sort between the frame rails.

Default Trans fan??

Is this because these small tractors hydraulics are overwhelming a traditional oil cooler and a traditional sump?
Or is the sump too small on these smaller tractors?

I did some reading and found this...

BX-24 Rear Drive Shaft Fan Questions
Last week while clearing some land a small stick pop up and it broke all the fan blades off that little white plastic fan attached to the rear of the drive shaft.(My question is...It this the trans fan??) Local Kubota dealer quoted me $800.00 for the labor and only $5.00 to $10.00 in parts for the PLASTIC!!! fan. Kubota dealer also said the fan is crucial to cooling of the transmission and should not be ran without. My questions are can I fix this myself ? Anybody else have this problem yet and how did you fix it ? Will my BX-24 be fine without this fan or does the $15,000.00 tractor re-lie on this $5.00 dollar fan, witch any stick can take out because there is no protection around that fan.

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

Well, that seems like a very worthwhile purchase...
