Points: 0 | Mid Mount Mower Choices I'm trying to decide between a Kubota B2920 and the B7800 (only $100 difference). I like the fact that the 7800 is tried and true, but my dealer's quoting me MMMs and FELs at a higher price for the 7800 than the B2920 ($700 more for a 60" MMM; $900 more for the FEL + valve). Given these prices, I don't think I could justify the purchase of the 7800 given the increased price for the tractor and toys, but what other MMM options do I have? What companies make MMMs for the 2920 and the 7800? What models would you suggest? Thanks very much in advance for any advice.

I can't help with prices, But when Kevin from Emerich see's this post he give you a straight answer on why the prices difference between the models.
BUT- Only Kubota will make a MMM to fit either of the model tractors you listed, there are NO aftermarket company's making MMM's. | John Deere 4110HST

Points: 0 | Which is why you might want to consider a rear finish mower...which is tractor independent... | Paul in VT
I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

-Brad | For gigles how much is a B3030? if the 7800 is only $100 more than Im curious and it makes it a strong consideration. A little more hydraulic and lift ability and position control for 3 pt attachments. Points: 0 | First of all, thanks to everyone for the advice.
Ducati:
They seem to be quoting (before any negotiation) about 15% off of the MSRP from Kub's website, so they'd probably quote me around $14.8K for the B3030 vs. $11.8K for the B2920 ($11.9K for the B7800). Considering I wouldn't even need/purchase the FEL for 5 years, and I likely wouldn't be pushing the 2920 to it's limits, I won't need the increased umph of the 3030. It sounds like the 2920 is the ticket for my needs unless I can talk my dealer down significantly on the RCK60-27B MMM and/or the B7800. | | | |

The 7800 has a great following with great results - nothing against the B2920, but it appears the 7800 is more machine | New to the Fold: Kubota L39 w/grapple, pallet forks, BH QA buckets, and more! Points: 0 | You've convinced me I'm going with the B7800 hydro with R4 tires and a 60" Land Pride RFM. The dealer doesn't seem to want to go below $13,875 for the package ($11,900 for the tractor and $1,975 for the RFM). I live just south of Cincinnati in Kentucky. Does this sound like a reasonable price given the soon to be released B3200?
Thanks for all your advice so far.

Points: 0 | Welcome aboard! As far a the mowers go, I personally like the quality of cut of a MMM vs. a 3pt finish mower. I think it is easier to cut around obstacles with a MMM than a RFM, but if I had a large, wide open area to be mown, I would surely give a RFM strong consideration. | JD 2520 w/46bh, 200cx loader, meyers 6ft plow
