I saw on one of the other boards that the rear pto spins when the mid is engaged on the new B's, is this true? Perhaps Kevin knows for sure. It seems this would be a problem.  | | | |

Yes that is correct the rear PTO is 2 speed and is engaged when the mid pto is engaged | | | |

Same as last years B Series, Yes You can run just the rear pto at 540 and then you can run the mid pto and rear pto at 960. It has never been an issue. I only had one person ask about leaving his fertilizer spreader on when he mowed. I told him he would need to take the 10 seconds to disconect his driveshaft. There are not many attachments that you would want left on the rear pto when the mid pto was running?
I can only think of a few. They have left it the same as last years B-Series.

More of a problem is to run the fertilizer spreader and leave the mower on. My spreader works much better at the higher speed, so I have to disconnect the mower drive. Still easier than taking the whole mower off. | | | |
